Practice

Structural depth, civil reach.
One engineer of record.

Every engagement is led by Mark directly — the person quoting the work is the person sealing it, walking site, and answering the phone when something needs a decision.

Bridge engineering — illustrative drawing

Bridge engineering

Design and analysis of steel, concrete, and composite bridges — new builds, widenings, and rehabilitation. Load ratings, retrofit strategy, and constructability review for crossings of every span class.

Civil & site design

Grading, drainage, roadway alignment, stormwater, and servicing for industrial, transportation, and infrastructure sites. From feasibility to issued-for-construction.

  • Stormwater management
  • Permit-ready drawings
Engineering contract work — illustrative drawing

Engineering contract work

Sealed engineering deliverables on contract for owners, EPCs, and design firms — drop-in capacity for crunch periods, second-shift design, and projects where you need a P.Eng. of record.

  • Sealed deliverables
  • Surge / overflow capacity
Independent review & QA — illustrative drawing

Independent review & QA

Third-party design check, peer review, and constructability QA. The senior set of eyes you bring in before a sealed package goes out the door — or before a contractor mobilises.

  • Third-party check
  • Constructability review
  • Owner's engineer

How the work runs

Four phases.
No surprises.

Engineering projects go sideways at the handoffs. The cure is to put scope, assumptions, and review checkpoints up front — so you always know where the design stands and what comes next.

  1. 01

    Scoping call

Before any drawings come out, we walk the brief — what's being built, who the stakeholders are, and what the calendar looks like. Half the time the right move is reframing the question, not answering it.

  2. 02

    Proposal

Inside a week, you get a fixed-fee or T&M proposal with a clear scope, deliverable list, and assumptions called out. No estimate creep, no vague exclusions to argue about later.

  3. 03

    Engineer & deliver

Design, calcs, and drawings produced to the standards your jurisdiction needs. You get progress drops on a schedule we agree up front — never radio silence followed by an IFC dump.

  4. 04

    Seal & support

Sealed deliverables on issue date, with construction-phase support priced into the engagement. Through RFIs, shop-drawing review, and field changes — same engineer, all the way.

Selected work
